Join our mentors’ panel
We are inviting researchers with a doctorate or substantial research experience to work with us on a project basis. Panel capacity, not client demand, is what limits how many people we can accept into research-backed mentoring.
What the work involves
Each engagement is a defined project with a start date, a scope, and a fee agreed in advance. You supervise learners in your own field, at the level appropriate to them, and you decide what counts as a genuine contribution.
- Train learners in the research methods of your field, including design, data handling, and analysis.
- Supervise ethical conduct of the work and hold the line on research integrity.
- Guide manuscript preparation and advise on suitable journals or conference venues.
- Determine authorship strictly on the basis of contribution, using recognized authorship criteria.
- Report progress to Aemers at agreed checkpoints.
Who we are looking for
- A PhD, or equivalent research experience with a documented publication record.
- Active familiarity with peer review in your field.
- Willingness to supervise learners at two very different levels: undergraduate applicants building a first research experience, and professionals preparing evidence for a talent-based immigration petition.
- Availability for a defined project window rather than open-ended commitment.
One condition is not negotiable. Authorship is earned through contribution. We do not offer, sell, or arrange authorship in exchange for a fee, and we do not work with predatory or pay-to-publish venues.
How we engage and pay
-
Application
Send your CV and a link to your Google Scholar profile to niw@grecaemers.com. Name the fields and methods you are prepared to supervise.
-
Conversation
We discuss the kinds of projects we have in your area, the expected time commitment, and the fee for a single project cycle.
-
Written agreement
Scope, checkpoints, deliverables, confidentiality, and fee are recorded in writing before any learner is assigned to you.
-
Delivery and payment
You are paid per project or per cohort delivered. Payment is never contingent on a client’s immigration result, scholarship result, or publication acceptance.
Questions researchers ask
Do I need to be in Bangladesh?
No. Supervision is remote. Our panel members work from wherever they are based, and our learners join from several countries.
Will my name appear on Aemers marketing?
Only with your written permission. Many panel members prefer to remain unnamed publicly, and we respect that by default.
Who owns the research output?
The research belongs to the researchers who produced it, under the authorship and institutional rules that apply to the work. Aemers claims no ownership of academic output and no authorship credit.
How much time does a project take?
It varies by field and by learner level. We agree the expected hours in writing before the project starts, and we do not extend a project without renegotiating it.
